The Honor 10 Lite has to be one of the slickest-looking phones the brand has released yet. It's skinny, shiny, and has a screen that's impressively bezel-free. Sure, there's a notch, but it ain't one of those iPhone-style wedges.

Around back, it looks like a single sheet of glass, all reflective and minimal, that blends into the frame. Only this isn't your typical metal and glass sandwich, because that would be too expensive. The 10 Lite is made from plastic.

You do at least get a responsive fingerprint sensor, and even a headphone jack - but it sits next to an old-school microUSB charging port. It's 2019, guys. Can we all just agree it's USB-C all the way from now on?

The 6.21in screen is impossible to miss, but is it any good? There are no complaints over the 2340x1080 resolution, which is exactly what we'd expect for this kind of dollar, and it gets plenty bright enough.

Though it costs £229.99 in the UK, the Honor 8X looks, feels and performs like a high-end smartphone in most respects. It features a gorgeous 6.5in FHD+ bezel-less display and an eye-catching glass and aluminium design that makes it stand out amongst the competition.

It also offers high-end features like facial recognition, alongside the rear-facing fingerprint scanner, and although performance can be a little spotty in the most demanding 3D games, we've experienced very little in the way of lag in general use.

While you might assume that the Honor 8X is a high-end, premium smartphone , it actually costs less than £250 in the UK. Sporting a gorgeous bezel-less display, unique design and an impressive camera setup, the Honor 8X could be one of the best mid-range smartphones on the market at the moment.

The Honor 8X is now available to buy in the UK, following an early October launch. The Honor 8X is much cheaper than it looks; it only costs only £229.99 in the UK, while those in Europe can pick the smartphone up for €249.90.

It's an attractive phone and general specs are good, including no less than four cameras.  It doesn't have flawless performance but there's little to complain about at under £200 making it one of the best budget phone around.

There's no let up in the smartphone market and Honor has yet another new handset to tempt those looking for a stylish phone at an affordable price. Here we take a close look at the Honor 9 Lite in our full review.

So the Honor 9 Lite sounds like a cut-down version of the excellent Honor 9 and while it is to some extent, it's also a sort of mini or light edition of the Honor View 10  because of its 18:9 screen.

However, the device is closest - almost identical in fact - to the Huawei P Smart which has just launched on Vodafone. Honor's version, though, will be a great way of picking up the same phone on a contract-free basis. A new contender in the cheap phone market is the HTC Desire 12+ .
